Thank you for taking the time to look at my resume. I am very interested in this position and I hope you can find me as a suitable candidate for it as well. I am 21 years old and from Houston, Texas. I am a Senior at the University of Iowa and currently majoring in education studies and human relations and getting my minor in English. In addition to my studies, I am also a student athlete and on the track team for the university. I have prior experience working as an engineering camp counselor/teacher during the summer of my freshman year. One of the things I enjoyed most in this position was being able to help teach and motivate my students everyday. I take pride in knowing that I have played an instrumental role in bettering the life of those who I work with, whether this is mentally, emotionally, or physically. With being a D1 student athlete I find myself being able to relate to those who suffer from injuries that bar them from pursuing the activities of daily life.
