• Provide general financial guidance/support to the Elkton, Virginia site
• Prepare for and lead internal and external audits while maintaining an excellent audit record
• Work in SAP daily for data retrieval and analysis
• Preparation and delivery of monthly forecasts and annual budget
• Develop and distribute reports locally and to corporate providing commentary of variances to budget and forecast
• Work with various areas to maximize forecast accuracy and understanding of finances
• Preparation of any ad-hoc requests from site or corporate
• Month end preparation of journals and reporting/analysis
• Work with site’s asset ledger creating and maintaining all disposition records
• Lead financial support for JLL reorganization at the Elkton site
• Beginning to train new Finance support FTE
• Continuously maintaining financial excellence and audit support with a Finance department of 3 for a site of 1000+ FTE’s
• Prepare/analyze monthly actual sales vs forecast and budget
• Review Bill of Materials and create cost standards for new items
• Verify cost standards against production
• Responsible for purchasing various materials for plant
• Involved with a variety of duties at month end closing
• Involved with explaining monthly inventory/cost variances of inventory
• Responsible for conducting various audits with respect to SOX
