I'm a strong leader and problem-solver dedicated to improving operations by minimizing downtime and increasing efficiency while decreasing costs and promoting team unity; as well as using great decision-making skills and sound judgment to positively impact company success.
I carried all day-to-day shop office needs from hiring employees to training and ordering parts for dozens of different agriculture equipment and machinery. I helped scheduled service calls and made sure equipment maintenance and repairs were done to manufacturer specifications while minimizing downtime. I was also in charge of the CHP's BIT inspection program for the company and made sure all the commercial driver license employees had their license in good standing while keeping track of their weekly allowed hours of driving per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements. I also helped with the purchase of new machinery and equipment and sale of older equipment and machinery. Moreover, I was in charge of applying for the Carl Moyer and Farmer Programs for financial assistance in the purchasing of replacement field pump engines and tractor replacement to meet the states air pollution control districts regulations.
In 2020 I saved the company over $600,000.00 by working with the county of Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District and participating in the Farmer Grant Program to help meet the states Clean Air Act.
