Responsible for building various rocket engines and sub-assembly hardware for multiple types of rockets from Blue Origin, ULA, Boeing, NASA. Currently in a Lead role which duties include: dispersing job duties of the team, tracking hardware coming in and out of combustion department, communications with mechanical engineers to facilitate process changes and work instructions for our team, communicating with supervisors and managers on process needs and concerns with engine builds. Also helped incorporate 5s strategy for our area which included: shadow boards for tooling and cleanup equipment, delegated roles to teammates on a specific area they were responsible for on a weekly basis, organized a layout for work centers to provide the most efficient work area for our department. In charge of updating work that was completed and work that needs attention from engineering to get materials fixed. Also spearheaded training to new employees and teaching them how to build engines and improving the processes of the builds. Also am dedicated overhead crane operator for my shift. Gel-sight certified for materials that need to have scratches and dings identified for depths of damage.

• Operated in the 970 ADN and HMD Refining unit making adjustments to chemical refining train such as turning valves, used forklifts to dispose of chemical waste drums, climbing og refining columns to do troubleshooting on various transmitters, shutting down and starting up the entire refining train, swapping heat exchangers with various amounts of steam pressures, lining up refining product to production tanks, and collecting multiple samples throughout the shift
• DCS board certified on 2 refining trains in 970 unit
• Communicating with field operators via procedures, HRP, and JSA's to perform jobs safely and within procedure
• Reviewing flows and updated drawings in an ever-changing process
• Communication with engineers and management supervision with adjustments or concerns.

• Worked in the finishing department of the barrel making plant
• Assembled and repaired barrels
• Leader of my area in the implementation of safety programs used in the plant such as BBI (behavioral based safety) and TPM (total process management) which involved plant manager and director, safety manager, and maintenance coordinators
• Also was interim lead technician for my department which involved: recording final counts of production for the day, assigning team members their work rotation and breaks, and also alerting maintenance to any mechanical breakdowns on the production line
• Supported management decision-making by compiling operational and production data into daily logs
• Assessed materials, parts and final products for quality, and removal of quality defects.

• Received and processed both written and verbal instructions, prints and work orders
• Installed protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage during shipping
• Verified part Numbers and placed parts in appropriate shipping containers
• Completed durable assemblies and subassemblies with hand and power tools such as impact wrenches and drills
• Logged incoming and outgoing shipments in computer database
• Operated multiple forklifts to accumulate parts needed for shipments.
