In short, time, duties, on-the-job training, and life experience (in many areas of my life) make me an asset to our Geneseo Academic Advising Office. Apart from my adjunct instructional duties, I have served as interim academic advisor and success coach for the advising office, an academic coach, and most recently, I led our new student outreach program, Academic Champions. Another vital experience in my life was my time in the Armed Forces. Serving in the United States Navy and being a part of the first battle group to deploy after 9/11 truly shaped me into the mature and responsible adult I am today.
