I covered call for the hospital, Med/Surg, ICU and ER

I covered general everyday.

• Mentored new sonographers, sharing expertise in scanning techniques and best practices.
• Improved department efficiency through proficient use of electronic medical records and PACS systems.

• This is a travel temporary position in general ultrasound, OB/GYN, vascular, breast and small parts and sterile procedures. I work clinical, emergency, Med/Surg and ICU patients while also provide up to 75 hours of Call per week.
• Collaborated with radiologists for timely and accurate reporting of findings, improving patient care.
• Supported physicians in making informed diagnoses with thorough documentation of sonographic findings and relevant clinical information.

• I took this PRN position as a general, OB/GYN, vascular, breast and small parts technologist. Sterile procedures are also performed.
• Demonstrated versatility in performing various types of ultrasounds including abdominal, obstetrical, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts examinations.

• A small independently owned and operated business that offers mobile services and a full range of diagnostic exams ranging from OB and abdomen to vascular and small parts.

• An independently owned full service imaging center where I worked closely with the radiologist Dr. Agness in mainly breast imaging but vascular, abdomen, GYN and small parts as well.

• A busy Hospital setting with scheduled patients, inpatients, Med/Surg, and emergency department needs offering the full range the modality encompasses. I work very well in this fast paced environment and can seamlessly navigate between the needs of all working parts of the hospital and prioritize exams with constant communication with the charge nurse and affiliated Doctors.

• A small critical access hospital with a family atmosphere. Working by myself doing all general, OB/GYN vascular, breast and small parts exams and performing sterile procedures with the radiologist and FNA's with the pathologist. Because of the size of this hospital scheduling and pre-authorization of exams, answering phone and clerical work was also a daily task performed.
