I greeted and spoke with residents, offering general info as needed, checked badges, sold day passes, handled money drops for cafe and bar, filled out incident reports. I was also responsible for closing duties, which included ensuring all areas inside and outside of club were secured and setting alarm for the night.
My position was in a Amazon Delivery Station where I helped route, sort, scan, pack and stage packages for pickup and delivery. The environment was exceptionally fast paced and I received recognition and incentive for my high performance metrics.
During this period, I relocated from Colorado to Georgia just before the pandemic and shutdown happened in March of 2020. I traveled part of that year and was receiving unemployment. Towards the end of 2020 and going into 2021, I was performing odd jobs such as housecleaning and pet sitting until October of 2021.
My primary client was a 90+ year old gentleman with dementia. He needed essential care, including assistance with dressing, transferring, escorting to meals, bathroom needs, and companionship. I kept a log of daily activities, and helped monitor changes in his health and moods.
