As the Assistant Middle School Coordinator, I created and facilitated programs that supported the personal and social development of middle school members. I built strong, trusting relationships with youth by providing mentorship, emotional support, and a safe environment where they could communicate openly. My responsibilities included supervising transportation on the bus, ensuring safety during pool activities, and maintaining a clean and organized program space. I collaborated closely with coordinators and staff through regular meetings to align goals and maintain consistent program delivery. In this role, I promoted a respectful and inclusive environment by modeling positive behavior, reinforcing rules, and addressing member concerns with empathy.

As an Elementary Group Leader, I collaborated daily with the Elementary Coordinator to plan activities, review program needs, and support staff in program delivery. I assisted with preparing and organizing program spaces, including setup and cleanup, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children. A key part of my role involved building meaningful relationships with elementary members, fostering trust and creating a supportive space where they could grow socially and emotionally. I also provided supervision during transportation, including bus duty and school pickups, to ensure member safety. At the end of each day, I debriefed with the coordinator to reflect on challenges and identify improvements for future programming.
