Preoperative/Recovery

• Providing comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients before and after surgical procedures. This includes; preforming assessments pre and postoperative, detailed postoperative education, assessing patient and family's understanding of home care instruction, IV Insertion, medication administration, and collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams to communicate any patient specific needs or concerns.

Employee Health

• Vaccine administration and documentation. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of immunization. Ensuring employees have declination forms in place if they have declinations towards any vaccine.

Preoperative Nurse

• Administer diligent care to patients by: preforming assessments, providing instruction and preparing patients prior to surgery, ensuring operative and informed consents are signed and correct, preforming labs and communicating results with physicians.

Pre-Admission Testing Nurse

• Initiating a detailed intake assessment prior to surgery date over the phone and or in person. Ensuring all ordered labs are complete before scheduled surgery. Providing communication to patient's Doctor and Anesthesia team regarding abnormal labs prior to surgery.
