Monitoring & Control: Use DCS (Distributed Control Systems) to monitor equipment statuses and process variables (flow, level, temperature, pressure) for optimal performance
System Operation: Initiate, adjust, and shutdown units and equipment (pumps, boilers, vessels) based on procedures
Alarm Management: Respond to alarms and identify system anomalies or malfunctions
