Creator and Director of Platypus Society, the after-school program for children in elementary and middle school featuring a fun array of activities such as sports, art, games, confidence and team building exercises, and much more. I am responsible for the operating and management of the entire program.
I currently work for the Nashoba Regional School District Extended Learning Program at The Center School in Stow, MA. I am responsible for promoting safe play and academic advancement for elementary school kids in a public school setting.
After taking part in the CIT program for three years, I have worked as a counselor at Camp Stow for the past five summers, working my way up to the title of Head Counselor and Archery Director. I am responsible for leading and coordinating games and activities for children ages 4-12 and promoting teamwork as well as safety.
While spending a season playing Junior hockey in New Jersey, I worked for the Champions after-school program at Wolfhill School in Oceanport, New Jersey. I was responsible for the care of elementary school children and running innovative and engaging activities helping to promote inclusion and educational advancement.
During the uncertainty of COVID-19, I worked at Camp Three Rivers as a summer camp counselor. I was responsible for working with a group of 6-year-olds and promoting cleanliness and safety during these un-paralleled and confusing times while simultaneously running games and activities that aligned with the current pandemic protocols.
Volunteered as a Zoo Ambassador at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA. Was responsible for educating the public about the various animals at the zoo and helping to encourage care for wildlife and the conservation of the environment.
Volunteered as a dog walker at the Monroe Humane Society while playing AAA hockey in Wisconsin. Was responsible for socializing dogs of all sizes and behaviors.
Volunteered as a learn to play hockey coach for the SMS Little Devils hockey program. I was responsible for teaching the foundations of ice hockey and running various drills.
