At Jacobs I have been responsible for Monitoring and documentation of Several elements across the Flood Diversion Project. I have been directly involved with the construction of river aqueducts, drainage inlets and bridge crossings with a specialty focus on Concrete and its application. I have furthered my skills in reading plans, construction phasing and coordination with contractors while developing good working relations with all parties involved.

• Company Overview: Carters LS is a Logistics Company that my wife and I own. My part time duties include Accounts management and Marketing, as well as IT.

• At ECME I was responsible for the Inspection and Reporting of several Construction projects in western Colorado including verification of Specification adherence, Material submittals, Mix design approvals and Data management in the CDOT Data base.

• Duties Included Managing and maintaining all incoming Sample flow and Lab testing. Maintain the lab budget and supply Inventory. Testing included Specific gravities, Turbidity, Chlorides, Sulfates, and chemical residuals by means of Titration, Spectrometer, or ICP-OES. I also tested for Trace Metal Levels ICP-OES and Identified Solids found in water samples with various solvents and acids. Secondary Duties Included maintaining yard operations such as loading and unloading of Chemicals used in operations with a Forklift.

• Duties Included Establishing test procedures and complete construction of the Lab and Plant. With USO I had The opportunity to learn several new lab tests and procedures used in oil extraction. I was also able to gain More experience in hands on construction and Heavy Machinery operation.

• Duties Included Management of daily operations in both the Laboratory and Field. I was also responsible for maintaining the Quality Systems Manual, AMRL, and CCRL accreditations. As well as all Projects, Fleet and Safety Management. I started as a Field/Lab Tech in fall 2012 was promoted to Lab Manager in 2014, and then Operations Manager in 2015. Projects were in the Commercial, Residential, and FAA Sectors of Construction.

• Duties included Laboratory testing of Asphalt, Concrete, and Soils as per ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI standards. Perform Asphalt mix designs, Concrete trial batches. Assist in compressive strength testing of various Concrete and Masonry specimens. I also supervised the activities of other lab technicians in my various departments.

• Duties included Oversight and Laboratory testing of Asphalt, Concrete, and Soils as per ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI standards. I also assisted in the mix design of Asphalt and concrete. Most of my time here was spent with Proctors, Atterberg limits, specific gravities, gradations, and mix verifications of Asphalt.
