From sales and marketing to social media management and event coordination, my diverse experiences have shaped me into a driven and adaptable professional. As the first intern at 90 Degree Benefits, I learned how to generate business, build relationships, and navigate the corporate world. As the creator of Friday Beers UTC, I built a brand from scratch, growing it to 11,000+ followers, partnering with local businesses, and turning a passion into a platform that brings people together.
Through every role, I’ve learned how to connect with people, adapt to challenges, and create meaningful engagement. I bring a strong work ethic, creativity, and a strategic mindset, eager to contribute and make an impact in a professional role.
No Matter what role aI take on, I find a way to include passion and make my time enjoyable!
As the first intern in company history at 90 Degree Benefits, I was thrown into the deep end, stepping into a professional role for the first time at a large company. With no blueprint to follow, I had to navigate the challenges of lead generation, prospecting, and CRM management on my own, figuring out what worked best for both the company and my role. Through trial and adaptation, I found effective ways to connect with potential clients, support the sales team, and contribute to business growth. This experience pushed me to think independently, adapt quickly, and truly understand what it takes to make an impact in a professional setting.
As the creator and manager of Friday Beers UTC, I have built a thriving social media presence from the ground up, growing the account to 11,000+ followers and establishing it as a key part of the student culture at UTC.
I work closely with the student body to create and curate engaging content, ensuring the page remains relevant, entertaining, and community-driven. In addition, I have successfully collaborated with local businesses, bars, gyms, restaurants, clothing brands, and DJs, organizing promotional events that drive engagement and support local brands.
Beyond content and marketing, I have leveraged the platform for charitable efforts, raising money for foundation initiatives and giving back to the community. I also designed and launched my own custom merchandise, selling 600+ t-shirts, further solidifying the brand’s presence and reach.
This role has given me hands-on experience in social media growth, branding, event marketing, and business partnerships, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of audience engagement and digital strategy.
Working as a server across multiple restaurants in Chattanooga taught me the value of the dollar and the importance of a strong work ethic. Balancing customer service, multitasking, and fast-paced problem-solving, I developed exceptional communication and adaptability skills while ensuring a great dining experience for guests.
Beyond the restaurant, this role instilled a relentless grind mentality. While serving, I was also a full-time college student and worked 30+ hours per week in a remote marketing role, requiring intense time management and discipline. Juggling these responsibilities reinforced my ability to work under pressure, stay focused, and push through challenges—skills that extend far beyond the restaurant industry.
Overall, this role provided a valuable experience for a recent high school graduate with no prior sales background. It allowed me to gain hands-on experience, develop strong social skills, and learn how to build meaningful connections in a professional environment.
