Began career with New Albany Police Department in September of 2017. After completing the FTO program and going to the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2017 I came to the shift as a patrolman.
In October of 2018 I took over as the New Albany Housing Authority Officer. While in the position I was responsible for monitoring the camera system organizing overtime details and doing the payroll for Housing Officers. While there I was able to build a report with NAHA community members and staff and also people within the community. I successfully initiated youth outreach programs and attended all NAHA outreach events.
In February of 2022 I came to Second Shift. From there I joined the Hostage Negotiation Team. I've completed HNT Phase I, II, and III training. I've been on call outs and learned how to utilize the throw phone and the drone while on scene of call outs.
In 2023 I came to First Shift. While on First Shift I have become more knowledgeable on operating camera systems that civilians have in our community and have helped retrieve video that has helped with CID and solve multiple hit and runs. In 2025 I took over as Commander of HNT. I have been responsible for making people aware of call outs, giving directives, and assisting if needed. I've also began working more OPO and gotten better at writing traffic citations.
