  • In my role as the Printing and Converting supervisor, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant. This includes daily scheduling, employee issues, employee timesheets and time-off requests, employee reviews, employee write-ups, any help with machine troubleshooting, and answering employee questions on product or packaging issues.
  • In this role, I also help make and update all inspection and packaging SOPs.
  • I assist in all new production meetings and feasibility meetings to ensure we can efficiently, productively, and profitably accept the potential new product.
  • I communicate with customers over special requests and/or product issues to find ways to a solution that benefits both companies.
  • I schedule and send out all re-tools, and make sure my lines and employees have everything they need to be successful every day.
  • I train and coach my employees on SOPs and any customer complaints we may receive.
  • Always trying to find ways to make things better than I find them, and think outside of the box to make things safer and more efficient.

  • I was also responsible for retrieving my own materials via the warehouse or personal stock by hand truck, pallet jack, fork truck, push cart or by hand.
  • Was also responsible for logging in and out these materials as well via scanning system or paperwork.
  • All of this being done with little or no supervision.
