  • I am responsible for the design, critical review and preliminary checks of new and modified complex vital circuitry utilized by the railroad for various signal systems. This is to ensure a constant fail-safe operation which provides for the safe and efficient movement of trains.
  • Collaborate with contract engineering firms on new and "as constructed" signal design projects.
  • Work with field personnel on new, modified or existing signal designs.
  • Ensure all projects are designed incorporating applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

Railroad Signal Engineer
