Under the direction of Dr. Dayan Goodenowe, research centers on the biochemical characterization of prodromal biomarkers to aid in the prevention of human disease.

My roles include conducting experiments with a high level of precision while adhering to established standard operating procedures. Organization, labeling, and storing chemicals and biological samples in compliance with safety guidelines. Operating, maintaining, and calibrating a range of laboratory instruments, from hand‑held pipettes to automated machine pipetting systems, increasing laboratory efficiency. Intaking, labeling, and storing of human serum samples, ensuring that all chemical and biohazardous waste is managed and disposed of in accordance with environmental health and safety requirements.

Job roles consists of the organization and maintenance of human skeletal collections by monitoring quality, performing routine care, and ensuring all remains are accurately inventoried and returned to their designated storage locations. I open and prepare the lab for student access, provide guidance to any questions during lab hours, and assist faculty with varying assessment setup and osteological research tasks.

Serve in a physically demanding, high‑responsibility role, overseeing daily operations of the university’s climbing facility. Provide leadership and guidance to student staff, ensuring consistent adherence to safety protocols, risk‑management procedures, and customer‑service standards.
