The goal is to continuously grow and learn in this profession.
I unload and load units from either a box trailer or I load them onto a flat bed truck, once we unload the units from the truck we inspect the units for damages or leaks.
During my time at this job, I was either watching training videos or I was doing ride alongs and assisting with the technicians.
Working for Heninens I would get new/ used vehicles in. I would inspect the units for any damage and then clean the units. I would then put them on the showroom floor to sell.
I was second in charge at this company. When the owner could not be on site, he would put me in charge of making sure everyone had the right equipment and products in, and trailers were loaded correctly and routes were verified with the drivers. Then I would then load my own trailer and go to my jobs.
I learned more management skills with this company.
I was in charge of making sure everyone got there tasks done and the place was always cleaned and organized. I also was in charge of making sure all the mechanic shops had everything they needed before closing down for the night.
I would start to run an inspection on the vehicles and determine why the vehicle isn't running correctly. After I do all that I would goto the customer and talk to them and see if they would want to go through with the repairs on there vehicle.
