Most of the challenges that I have faced with equipment in all of my previous positions were things that i knew nothing about but i was able to utilize resources, problem solve or otherwise just get the job done. I never hired on maintenance staff but never-the-less i take responsibility for . the equipment that i am assigned to.
Crew Foreman: responsible for job site saftey, public safety, traffic control, work planning, and production.
Conduct a hazard assessment, identify all hazard controls, conduct a job briefing and complete tasks in a way that also offers crew members the opportunity to advance.
constant communication with Dispatch at DMEA, XCEL Energy, and any other Utility or property that we worked on.
Maintain all equipment as per maintenance scheduals and as needed.
Maintained CDL vehicles, boom and hydraulic components, wood chipper feed components, all tools such as Stihl gas powered saws hydrauiic saws and trimmers, kubota pony moetors, climbing equipment, saftey equipme=nt, and ability to repair any damages that may have been caused through the completion of the job-fences, irrigation equipment, landscaping, etc.
General Foreman:
communicate with the vegetation management supervisor to prioritize jobs. Contact customers ahead of time to explain the work and gain access and permission to do the work.
supervise all crews working on my contract. ensure proper safety, training, and productivity.
Middle management go-between for my company and the client company.
Ensure all equipment was DOT up date and road worthy, Ensure that all equipment on the contract passes an annual Dielectric federal inspection.
Maintain DOT compliance with all flagging operations and road side work.
