As an H1 door gunner it was my job to safely and effectively employ crew served weapons from the UH-1Y helicopter. My secondary job was to perform maintenance as a collateral duty quality assurance representative (CDQAR) which entails performing maintenance on dynamic components as well as certifying aircraft safe for flight. As a sergeant in the Marines I was responsible for 80+ marines in my unit, my key duties and responsibilities as an NCO were: leadership and mentorship, training and readiness, managing administrative tasks, including personnel records, equipment maintenance, and logistical support and finally serving as a liaison between my unit and higher command, effectively communicating objectives, concerns, and feedback.

• Reset and cleaned tables quickly to prepare for new customers.
• Collected trash, wiped up spills, and removed trays to maintain fresh and clean customer areas.
• Transported dirty utensils, dishes, and trays to kitchen to help team stay on top of cleaning.
• Worked quickly, communicated with other staff and always looked for better ways of completing tasks to improve productivity and keep tables ready for incoming guests.
