In charge of transferring products from inventory room to shelves for the general merchandise department. Maintain organization for general merchandise department's space in the inventory room. Assist department managers and accounting team on inventory counts each quarter.

Handled any and all conflicts with customers: answered phone calls, directed customers to certain items and answered any questions that came up. Acted as the team leader amongst employees, and made sure that everyone knew what was expected to be done and remained on task. Handled the store's money and locked up the store at the end of the night.

Worked as the football beat writer for the local high school. Interviewed players and coaches after practices and games and wrote preview and game recap stories each week. I also wrote two feature stories as a part of the job. All of my articles were published in the Brandon Valley Journal. Won first place in division for Best Sports Reporting at the 2020 South Dakota Newspaper Association Awards.

Worked as the football beat writer for one season on the school newspaper's staff. Interviewed the head coach of the team and write a preview for the upcoming game. Attended each game from the press box, as well as the post-game interview session before writing the game recap. Also wrote two feature stories and covered a women's soccer playoff game.

Assisted customers who sat in my assigned section. Took customer orders and answered questions that they may have had about the store or the menu. Learned important sales tactics such as recommending promoted items, and maintained cleanliness throughout the restaurant.

Assisted customers with taking orders, handled cash transactions, packaged and delivered orders to customers, helped to maintain cleanliness throughout the store.

Assured that all customers were taken care of in terms of service, atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the store. Worked with bartenders and other waiters to ensure the best experience possible was provided to customers.
