I am an expected BSN graduate of Bellin College looking to further my nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills by providing optimal care to others. I consider myself a lifelong learner and I am eager to grow into my role as I transition into being a registered nurse. I am a compassionate, respectful individual and I am a proactive contributor to team efforts. I value strong communication, teamwork, and connection in all aspects of my life. I have five years of hands-on caretaking experience with diverse populations which has helped to develop my professional communication skills. I am an ethical, hard worker and I will always put my best foot forward to deliver supportive, patient-centered care.
Through my experience as the Bellin Student Nurses Association Vice President I was in charge of organizing blood drives, volunteer opportunities, and informative conference details. This allowed me to get comfortable coordinating events and working with organizations that I may have not been familiar with. I feel like this has heightened my leadership skills along with my organizational skills. I believe these experiences and skills will benefit my career as a nurse because it makes me a more efficient team member.
