Additional Information
Clinic Volunteer: I've volunteered at Market Street SDA Church in Oakland, CA. I've attended two health clinics hosted by the church in July 2023 & July 2024. Tasks included triage and assessing civilians vital signs. Civilians were able to access medical, dental and vision health at the clinic.
Student Volunteer: During my 9th and 10th grade year of high school, I was a student volunteer at Habitat for Humanities. By completing tasks and carrying out projects for our community, I developed a sense of community advocation and gained leadership skills. Furthermore, I learned about the legal and ethical responsibilities involved and to maintain confidentiality and privacy of clients and workers.
