As a CAL SOAP coach I provide students with resources for college opportunities like assisting with college applications, financial aid, and collaborating with school counselors.

• Helped 1000+ High school students 1 on 1 with applying to college and claiming financial aid.
• Worked with student's parents to address financial need for college.
• Created presentations for students to understand the FAFSA and college application(UC/CSU/Private/CC) process as well as breaking down the types of aid that are available.

• Assisted students in mastering subject material and preparing for tests.

• Tutored struggling students with IEPs individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Helped with grading assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback to students based on results.
• Directly observed 504 meetings, getting first hand experience at the process of developing a plan with teachers and parents.
• Directly observed student teacher meetings to address and create a plan for student

• Affinity Group staff mentors oversee student groups of similar or shared ethnic and cultural backgrounds to support each other alongside faculty and allow a space for introspection and reflection on their identities and struggles on campus
