Returns Manager

Century 21 Department store
01.2015 - 01.2020
  • I was in charge of a six-person team that documents the daily arrivals of each return, analyzes each return order/item(s) and either refunds the items or reships them to the guest, sends them to be salvaged for disposal or to the appropriate returns department (in the event a wrong return label was used). During Thanksgiving through New Years season, we had from 4 to 10 additional team members help us work through palettes, so the warehouse wasn’t too crowded and this allowed us to be able to process refunds in a quick and efficient manner. We work hand in hand with Guest Services, Sales Audit/Asset Protection, Inventory specialists, copy team (for inventory description/photo corrections), and the shipping/receiving departments. I am a warehouse manager and keyholder and am on the schedule for both opening and closing the building as is required and assisting with shipping and receiving docks.

  • This is a faction of Eurest/Compass Group which is(currently known as CxR) a widely known and respected catering and Hospitality Management Company with multiple offices in the United States. I later worked both in front of house as a server/lead waiter/bartender/captain and back of house as well as pantry supervisor with responsibility over all inventory, equipment, production (at times maintenance of special event rentals/equipment) and logistics for plating for meal prep.
