My name is Jamari Arrington, and I am a dedicated student at Fisk University pursuing a career in the criminal justice system. I have a strong background in helping people and have developed excellent communication and efficiency skills. Currently, I am an unemployed college student seeking work opportunities.
I assisted in the demolition of buildings using various tools, removed debris for disposal or recycling, and transported construction materials to job sites. I ensured proper disposal of hazardous waste, maintained a clean worksite, and quickly cleaned up messes. I also used protective gear such as hard hats, goggles, ear protection, and respirators when necessary.
I supervised outdoor activities, assisted with meals, snacks, and bedtime routines, and greeted parents with updates on their children’s day. I provided a safe environment for children to explore, completed light housekeeping tasks, and engaged in age-appropriate activities. I instructed children in basic hygiene, administered medication as needed, and maintained a positive, patient attitude. I established trust through consistent communication, taught good manners, encouraged learning and physical activity, and used problem-solving skills to anticipate potential issues.
I promoted high customer satisfaction by resolving issues with knowledgeable and friendly service. I effectively followed directions, collaborated with a diverse team to achieve goals, and promptly identified customer needs. I assisted with customer requests, answered questions, and engaged customers using strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, I motivated and encouraged team members to communicate openly and constructively.
I was key in organizing and executing food drive events, from identifying and engaging prospective donors to greeting and directing volunteers and visitors. I sorted donations for easy distribution, prepared food boxes, set up event locations, and assisted clients by packaging and loading groceries into their cars.
