I worked in the box room and my job was to run the machine, stack the good boxes, write down the bad ones, & send the good ones downstairs so they could put the chicken in it

I started as a machine operator(helper) and after 4 months I was running my own machine.

My job required me to drive safely, and keep every station & machine full with the appropriate things to use

• Responsible for receiving orders, unloading deliveries and subsequently storing them in the warehouse.
• In-charge of the quality-control of goods and deliverables in the warehouse and ensuring that only undamaged products are sent out.
• Responsible for maintaining a ledger for the exchange of materials in and out of the warehouse and reporting them on a daily basis to the warehouse manager.
• Adept at the usage of scanners and bar code readers and employ them for an efficient inventory control in the warehouse.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat, and complying with safety procedures, rules and warehouse maintenance regulations.

• Assisted with the cleaning of work area facilities and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring facilities and equipment are in proper working condition and providing a sanitary, safe and attractive work environment.
• Loaded/Unloaded delivery truck for the purpose of picking up soiled items and returning sanitized items to appropriate locations.
• Responded to inquiries for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel.
• Sorts and folds laundered articles for the purpose of preparing them for storage and/or delivery to other locations.
• Stocked shelves, as needed, for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items required to properly maintain laundry and work areas.

• Extremely reliable and safety conscious with solid experience in warehouse operations to include loading and unloading trucks; shipping and receiving; order picking / packing; staging and stocking.
• Excel at accurately labeling freight, monitoring inventory, calculating and verifying quantities, and using computers to maintain records and track shipments within high-volume warehouse environments.
• Proficient in the use of pallet movers, standup forklifts, swing-reach trucks, and order pickers; troubleshooting breakdowns and call for repairs.
• Readily support new processes and promote team-oriented environment to enhance productivity, build morale, and control costs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, forklift certificate, and ability to lift 100 pounds.
