I was hired on as a machine operator but was assigned to the Quality Lab at the start of my career here at Kimberly Clark. The job was called an EWMA operator. I was trained and qualified by Quality to measure and test diapers, similar to what we do today.
Less than a year later a position as a machine operator was available and the crew leader put me on the diaper machine and I remained a machine operator for ten years until i was promoted to Lead Operator.
I was promoted to Lead Operator in March 2007. I remained Lead Operator on B10 until March 2014. I was in an automobile accident which caused me to voluntarily step down from the Lead Operator role because of injuries.
I was on leave for 3 months and i came back and i asked if i could be placed on the pants machine as an 03 machine operator, which i was allowed to do.
I remained on the machine operator job until a temporary Quality Assurance position became available due to someone being out on disability.
After about a year of working and getting experience in the QA position I returned to the machine operator position.
I remained a machine operator on B18 pants machine until May 2017 when the QA job that I now have became available.
I have 7 years experience in this QA position and I am qualified and also perform the Quality Specialist position when needed.
