Worked over 25 years at the Eastman Kodak Company and performed at a high level in a changing work environment. I have over 35 years of manufacturing and quality control experience working with many different products, processes and operating systems. I have also worked in several leadership positions throughout my career and met all challenges with professionalism.
I am a proud father of two teenagers and home owner in West Henrietta.
I have over 7 years experience as a process technician at IFF, and specialize in systems analyses and centrifuging. I am a senior operator that is certified on both production lines and very knowledgeable with all of our software systems and assets. I also have strong troubleshooting skills and often assist maintenance and/or engineering with problem solving/resolve. I was directly involved in several capital projects such as the commissioning of new production equipment and the implementation of a carbon bed air treatment system. I also participated in yellow belt projects such as improving the way we optimize our labor. I'm very knowledgeable with all of our work instruction documentation and have experience creating new as well as updating existing documents whenever necessary. I am also cross trained in Media Prep and have a good understanding of that process and managing the inventory systems.
I was required to perform in-process and final product testing on manufactured production batches. I also performed line checks to ensure that jar labels and codes were correct. Testing raw ingredients for quality and reviewing the certificates of analysis for production approval was part of my responsibilities. Calibrating equipment, inspecting machinery for cleanliness and performing daily line walks with supervision to ensure all personal was working safely, utilizing proper PPE, and following GMP's.
My primary responsibilities required the liquefaction of film layers utilized in coating events. Charging kettles, adding ingredients, and testing the final product was part of my job tasks. In addition, I was also a crew back-up groupleader in building 30. My responsibilities included facilitating start up crew meetings, running hourly production reports and shuffling labor as needed to complete tasks. I also had to fill out daily crew labor sheets and author (DR's) deviation reports.
