- I have worked for Smokehaus LLC for about four years now; in that time, I have filled many different positions. As a server, I primarily dealt with handling customers, and providing good service and care to make their dining experience better. I also worked in the kitchen at the restaurant as a fry cook, as well as preparing certain dishes for customers. There were many instances where there were lines out the door, and with us having a small staff, it created an incredibly stressful work environment, which left little room for error. Through my time at this job, I have developed great customer service and collaborative skills. I have also learned how to work under extreme pressure and stress, which I believe I now apply in all aspects of my life, particularly in my education. The fact my job title and position was constantly changing depending on what the owner needed from me allowed me to be very adept at being flexible. I learned how to be adaptable and can take on a variety of challenges without getting overwhelmed or underperforming.

- As a blood donor ambassador, I was responsible for managing donors and ensuring that people knew where to go and what to do to keep the blood drives smoothly operating throughout the day. This work developed my collaborative skills, as I often had to work with a team of other Red Cross workers in order to run drives. I also developed my customer service skills as I had to conversate with donors and walk them through how to check in and get ready to give blood.

- At School I was the captain of our mock trial team. As captain I lead my team as the only public school to 4th place in our state tournament. It was my schools highest finish in over a decade and I was nominated as the best lawyer in the tournament.
