Assists in the performance of construction and remodeling projects for public buildings.
Ensures that electrical stock supplies are maintained at the proper level, requisitions supplies and materials as necessary.
Inspects and tests electrical circuits and fixtures to locate broken wires, loose connections, blown fuses, faulty switches, grounds, shorts and other defects
Troubleshoots and repairs faulty electrical oil burner wiring, defective electrical equipment and machinery such as motors, generators, transformers, switches, sockets, and related items.
Work alongside contractors, architects, and engineers on job sites.
Follows approved construction plans for the installation of rough and finish electrical wiring
Plans layout for wiring of new buildings and old buildings in need of re-wiring/
Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical circuits, wiring systems, fixtures, appliances, equipment, motors, control panels, and other electrical devices.
