- Deck Hand- kept the logs straight while the mill was in operation.
- Crane operator ( 2 ½ ) years – unloaded log trucks, and loaded log decks.
- De-barker operator- I would cut logs to length and send them through the de-barker.
- Defect cab –as the logs came through the de-barker and was kicked on the log decks I would visually inspect and cut kinks and bows off logs to make sure they would go through chip-N-saw properly
- Edger operator- I would run lumber through a edger to make square boards out of the side boards off logs.
- Relief operator- relieved operators for their breaks throughout the day.
- 966 cat front-end loader- unloaded logs off trucks and loaded the log decks for the sawmill
- Mill Wright 3 ½ years – repaired mill as it went down through operating shifts, on operation down days I received work orders to complete on all parts of the mill to repair.
- Electrician helper – would help the electricians install conduit, wiring, and weld brackets for conduit.
