· Responsible for the preparation, submission, and accuracy of various departmental reports including the annual budget for construction and consumer lending.
· Interview loan applicants, collect and analyze financial data, determine credit worthiness of prospects and the merits of the specific loan request.
· Effectively Manage risk with-in established risk limits by grading new loans and monitoring quality-graded loans when they are assigned.
· Establish, build and strengthen client relationships.
· Identify and generate new construction and consumer loan opportunities for the bank.
· Assess and recognize new and existing construction clients' needs for bank products and services. Create and sell product packages as appropriate.
· Review Appraisals, AVM’s & CMAs for Real Estate loans. Prepare in house evaluations when required.
· Establish and maintain close communication with the Chief Lending Officer with regard to the Budget, business development plan, status, market conditions, and associated opportunities, pricing issues and current industry competition.
· Increase Bank visibility and enhance new business opportunities by representing the bank in the local community through active participation in community affairs and industry organizations.
· Compile loan packages and negotiate with applicants according to established policies.
· Manage residential construction loan portfolio including monitoring and approving draws verified by monthly inspections.
· Maintain close communication with borrower and contractors to ensure a successful project completion.
