
I have many years of sales experience in various fields. Over the years I have learned that follow up is paramount. Whether communicating with customers, reps, management, or fellow co-workers, follow up ensures everyone is up to date on the process and not feeling neglected or left out. Also, I am not afraid to say, "I don't know", never answering a question that I am not certain of. I do my best to get an answer in a timely manner and communicate the entire process.
Complete the signing process with the customer while offering multiple products related to the vehicle (extended warranties, bundles, ceramic coating, gap insurance.)
Communicate with lenders to ensure all car deals are funded and what products are available to sell on each car deal. Send any requested information to lenders that they need to fund deals.
Ensure all documents have been signed and scanned into CDK for compliance.
Greet customers on the lot and in the showroom. Ask engaging questions to discover the customer's vehicle wants/needs. Review the features and benefits on each vehicle of interest, take customers on test drives, and answer any questions the customer may have. Enter the customer's information into Vin Solutions and communicate throughout the sales process. Ensure all sold vehicles are fueled up and detailed. Set up OnStar and connect customer's phone to the vehicle. Ensure that the sales process is a positive, smooth process. Make daily phone calls on new sales leads and follow up calls with existing customers.
Make sales calls both in person and over the phone. Set sales appointments and attend municipal bid openings. Ask engaging questions to discover customer's specific trucking needs. Spec custom trucks for long haul, short haul, municipal, and vocational customers. Follow customer's ordered trucks through the delivery process, ensuring the PDI and delivery are smooth and done in a timely manner. Coordinate with the service and parts department on any stock or ordered truck issues. Follow up with the customer throughout the order process, delivery, and when the truck(s) go into service. Coordinate with upfitters on vocational, municipal, and box truck builds to ensure timely deliveries.
