As a recent graduate from the University of Washington, I am interested in joining the Institute for Environmental Health and Consulting Group for the Daytime Laboratory Analyst Position. I have a bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology along with additional experience participating in summer research and completing an associates in Pharmacy Technician Studies from Yakima Valley College. My experience is the following:
-Two summers involving research working with CRISPR kits in a laboratory setting and taking a Microbiology Lab working with laboratory instrumentation for DNA extraction and analysis. This included experience with PCR and immunoassay techniques, media preparation, and maintaining experiment data records for reporting.
-Experience with computer applications from biology coursework (Bioinformatics) utilizing software programs used for the instrumentation and computer entry along with additional experience entering patient and prescription drug information from the Pharmacy Technician program.
-Aseptic technique training to practice sterile compounding techniques within the Pharmacy Technician program and performing procedures from a microbiology lab at the University of Washington.
Furthermore, the combination of my skillset, my experience, and references qualifies me to be an outstanding candidate to be hired for this position. I am looking forward to receiving a response at your convenience.
Thank you for the consideration and time taken to review my application.
Yours sincerely,
