Polished and refined tool surfaces, both flat and contoured using abrasive stones, power grinders and emery cloths.
Assembled, maintained and operated drill presses to drill holes in products throughout assembly.
Barbered, assembled to run, set and pulled dies, full crane operation
Operated from 5,000 lb Hilo's to 80,000lb
Die tryout on hard and prototype dies
Performed die maintenance on hard dies, though it's been about 5 years since of worked on any.
Been primarily doing prototype dies
Machines used- wet and dry surface grinders, radial arm and small machine drill presses, minimal Bridgeport and lathe use. Bench grinders and wheels, metal shear. Mechanical and hydraulic presses
