Current Position

Sheriff's Deputy - Jail Division

• Charged with the care and supervising of the inmates within the Hall County Detention Center, ranging from minimum security to maximum security.
• Maintain order and discipline among inmates held in the Jail while assuring a safe and clean environment for the inmates and officers.
• Assists in emergency situations and must maintain physical ability to deal with physical, confrontational or combative situations.

Previous Positions

Inmate Surveillance & Investigations - Jail Division

• Personally reviewed and approved inmates' communications via the Securus eMessaging Platform within the Hall County Jail, reviewing as many as 250+ messages and photos that inmates would send or receive.
• Reviewed and surveilled inmate Video Visitations via the Securus Video Connect Platform, issuing restrictions and bans as per the user agreement and Hall County Sheriff's Office Policy.
• Investigated inmate phone calls to determine potential safety risks and criminal activity.
• Managed employee access to the Securus phone and video systems.
• Assisted prosecuting attorneys, defense lawyers and other Law Enforcement agencies by providing communications records of incarcerated inmates.
• Fulfilled Open Record Requests by providing extensive recordings from the Jail's camera surveillance system.
• Provided and fulfilled various tech support requests within the Jail Division.

Sheriff's Deputy - Courthouse Division

• Tasked with the protection and security of employees, judges, inmates and the citizenry within the bounds of the courthouse.
• Assisted in the implementation of an advanced, expansive security camera system encompassing 2 courthouse buildings and the immediate outside areas.
• Responsible to maintaining said security camera system, alongside the analysis of recorded footage at the request of command staff.
• The administration and control of keycard access.
• The administration and maintenance of the panic alarm button system.
• The execution of writs of Fieri Facias enacted by a judge under Georgia Law.

Sheriff's Deputy - Administration & Training Division

• Administered multiple Computer Voice Stress Analysis tests to potential new hires of the Sheriff's Office.
• Assisted in creating and administering training programs and material to better advance officer skills.
• Assisted the Patrol Division by compiling and producing reports of deputy response times within each zone of Hall County.

Notable Achievements

• Graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center Jail School program in 2018, completing an 86 hour education curriculum
• Graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center Police Academy in 2020, completing a 408 hour police education curriculum.
• Attained Computer Voice Stress Analysist certification in 2021, allowing the use of advanced lie detection technology regarding background investigation.

• Responsible for the security and surveillance at the facility of Recro Pharma
• Responsibilities include authorization of entry on to the campus, ensuring the vaults are securely locked and regularly patrolling the grounds
