Started in Oilfield as a Roustabout back in 2007 and progressed to Derrickhand by 2010. During this time I spent every Between Well Maintenace period with the Subsea department which lead me to change career path to Subsea Department. This knowledge learned during these years allowed me to learn How a Rig works and How to maintain important aspects needed to ensure a safe drilling program. Hard work paid off and I was accepted into the Dodi Subsea Trainee program where I spent 1-1/2 years learning Bops and Control systems before landing a subsea assistant spot on a Dedicated rig. Another year lead to promotion to a Senior subsea position until the Rig was Cold stacked. At this time Dodi was building a new rig in which shortly after joining became Senior subsea on this rig where I managed and maintained blow out preventers and ensured Safety, Compliance with Policies, API requirements were actively being met. Through my senior subsea career Safety was priority and voted as our Rigs Elected Safety Representative. Continued to Maintain and Operate blow out preventers through 2 Rig reactivation projects and delivered a fully commissioned Bop safely both times.
Joined 5th Gen Semi-submersible rig with 4th Gen Nov Bops Subsea team and learned Subsea duties thru Night position
Worked as Derrick hand performing Drilling duties in Africa
Worked as a shaker-hand / Lead roughneck thru drilling campions .
Worked and Floorhand during drilling campaign duties
