Hot Stick 7200/12470 overhead distribution. 1/0, 750 and 1100 URD. Storm work.

13800 Overhead glove and sleeve construction. 1/0 urd. lead on some bigger jobs. 39 pole rebuild conversion from 4kv to 13.8kv. Including six businesses. 4 3-phase urd transformers and multiple overhead three pot banks. Also 33 pole replacement job secondary re-conductor.

69kv rebuild.  556 wire.  Climbing wood 100-125 h6 structures.

230kv substation bay, breakers, and switches.

69kv rebuild.  Wood to steel pole conversion.  556 wire.  Double ciruit, one side de-energized other side manipulated using hot stick method.

69 kv arresters and 69kv Molbab switches.

Gas Co-generation plant.  230kv direct burry underground.

69kv rebuild.  Steel poles.  556 wire.  Crane.  Introduction to helocopters flying ropes.  Opgw (fiber).  69kv arresters.

500kv triple bundle.  Double dead end and Swinging tangent structure.  First introduction to crane work.

69kv line replacement.  556 wire.  Double circuit.  One side de-energized the other side hot and manipulated with stick and barehand method.  This was my first real introduction to stick work and barehand work, and the double elevator bucket and barehand bucket.

Hot Apprentice.  Learned the aspects of working 12470/7200 energized linework.  Some pole replacement work and some line replacement work along with storm restoration.

Solar field substation and accompanying 69kv line.  First introduction to Meyers (steel) poles and Sub work.  556 wire.

345kv phase raising.  Short outage.  Put wooden H-structure between two lattice structures.  Introduced to 1590 wire and pressed deadends.

Climbed 85-105 New wood poles.  Framed poles.  Pulled Spider ropes and bull line.  Then Pulled wire and clipped in.  69kv, 556 wire.

Climbed 60-75ft old wood poles.  Reframed and pulled wire with wire.  Clipped in.  69kv, 556 wire.  Learned about EPZ Grounding.

I Continued to learn.  On this job we converted 4800/2400 delta to 12470/7200 wye.  477 wire.

I learned Linework specifically, groundwork for a linecrew framing 12470/7200 Distribution.  I also learned some de-energized aerial work.

I installed cable tv, internet and phone service both overhead and underground.

I corresponded with Washington D.C. and the lawmakers to keep Maid-Rite Steak Co. compliant with U.S.D.A. regulations reguarding marketing tactics and label statements.  I also assisted the  I.T. department in minor programming and printer maintenance.  Lastly, I was a member of Research and Development of new product lines.
