  • Installed, configured, tested and maintained database systems, database application software and system management tools. Databases include Aurora - Postgresql, Mysql, Oracle, Db2, Hive, etc.
  • Worked closely with mostly internal customers, internal staff and other stakeholders to determine planning, implementation and integration of system-oriented projects. Typically in an agile setting using Jira.
  • Participated in system development life cycle from requirements analysis through system implementation.

  • Administered, supported and monitored databases by proactively resolving database issues and maintaining servers. This was done via AMP, Solar winds, Nagios, Cloudwatch, and pgmonitor.
  • Tested programs and databases to identify issues and make necessary modifications. Also worked on fulfilling Fedramp requirements.
  • Set up and controlled user profiles and access levels for each database segment to protect important data. For example wrote java script to automate schema level grants in snowflake to be integrated with AD.
  • Created and implemented database designs and data models. Mostly in Aurora and Snowflake.
