Performed heavy maintenance on rotating equipment. Performed engine swings, in-frame overhauls, head swaps. Specialized in troubleshooting persistent issues that run mechanics were having. Troubleshot panel and electrical issues. Provided leadership to run mechanics, heping troubleshoot, helped with task management. Trained new mechanics that came into the group.

Contract mechanic to Hilcorp. As a contractor I maintained compressors and pumping units, excelling at troubleshooting panels and electrical issues. I performed my own R&R work. In my time as a contractor the bosses and other techs came to rely on me to help troubleshoot issues and assist wherever needed.

Had various responsibilities within the company including maintaining compressors and pumping units; maintaining the leases, cleaning up locations, gauging tanks, ensuring all equipment on location was operating properly. I also drove the rig-up truck, setting and plumbing in units. I operated backhoe to clean up locations, replace pits, etc. I pressure tested tubing on pumping units, re-piped separators and wellheads.

The second half of my time here I contracted to Hilcorp as a field tech. Same description as above.

Inspected, maintained and repaired fire suppression systems on mining equipment at NAC- Bisti Fuels. Reset and refilled systems that were actuated. Maintained a small warehouse of inventory. Kept good customer relations with mine staff.

Maintained minimum of 98% runtime on all units. Worked on GED and VRU units with modern electronics as well as legacy units. Assisted in training other technicians to prepare them for field duty. Maintained a mentor role with them once they were on their own. Achieved companywide mechanic of the month for April 2019 as well as receiving multiple Golden Wrench safety awards. Kept excellent customer relations with all my operators.
