• We had to do roof work, framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish carpentry.
• Everyday was something new.
• We patched the pool, and framed out a bar and created a lounge.
• In the case that there is an issue, anything from a broken bath fan, a leak, to minor cosmetic repairs due to customer damage, I would solve the problem.
• If the problem was beyond my scope of ability I would contact the proper contractor.
• I would also assist in yard work and the outdoor maintenance.
• After buying a run down guest house in Eastham, Joey, a friend of mine asked me to come on part time to help him restore and update the space to a now profitable, thriving business.

• My job was to drive the truck to the different job sites, assist him with moving equipment such as different water jets and cable snakes, and installing and removing sewer ejector pumps.
• We used cameras and other diagnostic tools to assess and solve problems such as failed septics, obstructions in lines, and broken septic lines.
• We would dig trenches and work in small confined spaces, often in unpleasant conditions, not that I minded.
• I was also charged with being the contact point between Ryan and the customers about the state of their septics and what work we were prescribing, helping them understand and feel comfortable with what we were planning to do.
• Occasionally we would have to work hand in hand with town and local officials when digging roads and concrete and asphalt.
• Ryan owns an incredibly busy rooter service on Cape Cod. Being one of the only companies to serve the Cape, on average we would visit a dozen homes and businesses a day.

• My responsibilities included job site inspections, contract corrections and adjustments, customer communication, and submitting reports highlighting failed inspections and contract alterations.
• On my job site inspections I was expected to assess if the crew had properly ventilated and installed any and all contracted line items in accordance with state and Massave code.
• After I would submit a report through Excel and Sharepoint detailing deficiencies in my inspections, attaching photos and any other prudent documents.
• In the case of homes being unsafe or unfit to be worked in, my job was to alter the contract with a change order, and communicate with the office and the homeowner, documenting everything in another report uploaded to Salesforce.

As a keyholder my responsibilities ranged from baking biscuits in the morning to receiving food from distributors to any general maintenance in the store. I made prepared foods but the majority of the business was made to order. I dealt with handling the money including the bank drop at the end of the night. Working in a small seasonal tourist community meant lots of interactions with local guests then high volume in the summer.
