Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages daily operations, security protocols, asset protection, access control systems, prevention programs, and staffing levels for all shifts to ensure the safety and security of the Tribe, guests, vendors, and team members. Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as the Incident Commander during critical incidents, analyzing scenes and directing resources. Ensures crime scenes and perimeters are established, protects evidence, verifies medical aid has been provided, coordinates law enforcement response and evacuations, arranges traffic control, and ensures the Reservation is protected.

Plan and manage processes and practices for new security functions to ensure alignment with San Manuel business and community goals and objectives.
Manage the development and implementation of a robust training component for the enterprise, housed within DPS.
Develop training programs for DPS and related Casino and Tribal departments; emphasizing leadership, customer service, corporate security, casino security operations, patrol operations, prevention strategies, intelligence-driven operations, oral and written communications, and enforcement of state, federal, and tribal laws and ordinances.
Develop training schedules in conjunction with the needs of DPS, Casino departments, and Tribal departments; working with stake holders to determine training needs.
Equip the Training Staff to deliver outstanding training products/facilitation to stake holders and associated team members.
Administer training programs that build positive relationships with all internal/external customers which fosters a culture of process improvement and continual learning.
Analyze the needs of all related San Manuel entities and provide curriculum that responds to a fast paced and expanding business environment; align training goals and plans with the strategic vision of DPS, Casino, and Tribal organization.
