Governor's Scholars Program, June-July, 2021:

Attended a highly competitive, five week summer program for the top high school scholars of Kentucky, designed to enrich the future generation of leaders in the state. During my time at Morehead State University, I grew in awareness and appreciation of my community, and studied areas that interest me, such as writing and communication. Graduates from the program are eligible for generous scholarships from many colleges across Kentucky, including full tuition in many cases. 


Campus Outreach, Orlando Project, June-July, 2024: 

Participated in a 9 week summer ministry project designed to deepen personal faith and create opportunities for sharing with others. Over the course of the summer, 90 college students lived in Orlando, FL, worked local jobs, and participated in outreach events, while simultaneously volunteering at a church. I improved my communication abilities and gained confidence in intimidating conversations, while growing in personal discipline and seeking to benefit my community.
