• Overturned an emergency Certificate of Need granted to a competitor, and obtained a Certificate of Need for a specialty care assisted living client in arguments before the Alabama Supreme Court.
• Represented a major pediatric hospital. Worked with the President to draft materials for Board of Directors meetings, assisted with intergovernmental transfers, and drafted physician contracts.

• Successfully argued before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the dismissal of two separate Qui Tam False Claims Act cases filed against healthcare providers.
• Overturned Alabama Medicaid Agency at the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, establishing the current precedent with respect to agency rule- making without proper notice and comment.
• Obtained the dismissal of thirty-eight felony counts against the president of a major publicly held healthcare company.

Progressed through various line and staff positions with deregulated subsidiaries, culminating in management responsibility for all of the AT&T Information Systems offices in Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Chattanooga, TN, and Cincinnati, OH.
