- Was recognized by UAB Football in 2022 AL.com article "A part of the team': How cancer survivor James Howell became a member of UAB football program. During their annual children's harbor week benefiting children's hospital, families met with players and I was interviewed on behalf of my advocacy for this cause.
- May 2020- Jeff Looney "One a Rebel, Always a Rebel" memorial scholarship inspired by late Vestavia native Jeff Looney who inspired the Rebel spirit award.
- April 2020- Smile A Mile scholarship- scholarship given by the children's hospital cancer patient outreach based organization. Awarding those with the qualities of a leader in the setting of cancer survivorship.
- December 2019- Robby Rookis Courage Award- Named after the late Vestavia football player who battled leukemia during the 1980 football season and overcame cancer three times in his life until he passed away at the age of 45. This award was given to a player who displayed his strength and courage during the sport while overcoming adversities in their lives.

- Childhood Cancer Volunteer Work, 01/01/06, present, Children's Hospital Pediatric Oncology Floor Volunteer -Brought both Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to the oncology floor on these holidays for the patients and families who had to spend their holiday inside the hospital and providing hundreds of families with a holiday turkey and other side dishes to enjoy and feel like they could still celebrate the holiday even though the circumstances were not in their favor, Advocated for MoreThan4 organization by being represented on WBTM news networks in 2018 and 2019, Advocated for Childhood cancer awareness by having Vestavia Hills High School and Mtn Brook High school wear Gold and MoreThan4 decals during their 2020 football game, Volunteer for the 2022 and 2023 "Red Nose Ball" through Smile a Mile Organization- live auction benefiting the children's hospital outreach organization, Volunteer at Smile a Mile organization day camps through their outreach programs at Childrens of Alabama
