For 5 years at TDC, I lead departments for the process of manganese phosphate coating which includes 4 employees that I had as support to help maintain a steady flow. Being the department lead came with multiple responsibilities which included inspections for our blasting department and maintaining proper paperwork for the procedures and the coating process for the parts afterwards. This process also included processing the parts as well as inspections and maintaining proper paperwork within the guidelines of our certifications. Post processing jobs included certification of the process by way of coating weights and salt spray testing. Along with the processing of parts i was responsible for managing the flow of work to make sure they were processed in a timely manner for the customer.
