In my 22 years with Dell, Genco and FedEx while the name on the building changed, the job inside did not.
Our purpose is to repair all Notebook,Desktop, All in Ones, Tablets and Servers that are returned to Dell with technical issues.
During this time I have had numerous roles and responsibilities some of which I would like to highlight here.
For the last 15 years I was also tasked with being the Back-up Lead to cover whenever the need arose.
I also became the active lead for 8 months until a replacement was hired.
I have participated in multiple Kaizen projects to redesign elements within the operation, and also projects to verify troubleshooters were properly diagnosing units.
Trained new troubleshooters and fallout technicians how to diagnose computer failures.
On the personal side, I have been happily married for 18 years. My wife Bing and I have 3 children The oldest being my step-son Elston at 25 years old.
My daughter Isabella being 17 years old and my youngest son Alexander at 13 years old.
I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have such a wonderful family !
My interests outside of work is first and foremost spending time with my family, and above all of that is the beach.
We go every year to Panama City Beach FL.
The ideal job to me would be to be able to work remotely from the beach.
This is not likely to ever happen, but a man must have his dreams.
