Summary

I am a dedicated public servant and public service leader. I believe that a fire department should be aware of the needs and expectations of the public that they serve and strive to meet those needs. Fire/Rescue/EMS is as important to public safety as law enforcement. Although EMS has become the dominant need for fire departments, we must maintain our skills and readiness to respond to any and all kinds of emergencies. Being caught unprepared is not acceptable! Training and exercising are vital ingredients to preparedness, and should never be disregarded. Professional growth and development of individuals makes the whole team better.
