Assist with snow and ice control operations, assessing pavement conditions, coordinating clearing priorities, and communicating surface conditions and operational impacts to airport users.
Support inclement weather and irregular operations, including storm preparedness, low-visibility procedures, and post-weather inspections to ensure airfield readiness.
Respond to airfield incidents, accidents, and tenant emergencies; coordinate with local emergency services, Airport Maintenance, and law enforcement as needed.
Issue airfield activity notifications, temporary closures, and construction coordination updates to airport users, tenants, and the control tower.
Monitor and report outages or deficiencies in airfield lighting, navigational aids, pavement conditions, and safety systems; generate work orders and track corrective actions.
Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, wildlife activity records, and operational documentation, ensuring clear communication across shifts and departments.
Provide exceptional customer service to airport tenants, flight schools, FBOs, and transient pilots, supporting a positive and safe operating environment.
